CAREY — Bridget Mullholand struck out a baker’s dozen in her one-hitter as Carey edged Wynford 1-0 for a Northern 10 Conference softball win Thursday.
The Blue Devils improved to 16-5 overall, 10-3 in the N10.
Mulholland allowed only a single and a walk to Wynford No. 2 hitter to Madison Wagner and stranded five runners on base.
Hailey Niederkohr doubled and drove in Bryanna Curlis for the game’s only run.

Brylie Rampe had a double and a single, while Leah Stall, Olivia Sexton and Jessica Rinehart each had two singles for Van Buren (16-7, 8-3 BVC).
Ariel Myers’ double and single led Cory-Rawson (2-16, 2-8 BVC).

PANDORA — Janessa Taylor tripled among her three hits, drove in four runs and picked up the win in the circle in leading Riverdale over Pandora-Gilboa 9-5 in a rain-shortened Blanchard Valley Conference softball game Thursday.
Kori Frey singled and drove in a pair of runs for Riverdale (4-17, 1-11 BVC).
Madi Dulaney led Pandora-Gilboa (1-19, 0-11 BVC) with a single and an RBI.

PANDORA — Riverdale took advantage of two Pandora-Gilboa errors and smacked five hits in a six-run fifth inning as the Falcons picked up a 9-4 rain-shortened win in Blanchard Valley Conference baseball action Thursday.
The Falcons finished the season 12-12 overall and 5-6 in the BVC. It’s the first time Riverdale has finished at or above .500 since 2010 when they were 17-6.
Miles Frey and Trey Miller both had two hits and an RBI for Riverdale, while Alec Loveridge also had two hits.
Drew Johnson smacked two hits and drove in two runs to lead Pandora-Gilboa (6-19, 2-8 BVC).
